The Department of Czech for Foreigners at the Faculty of Arts of the University of South Bohemia organized a closing ceremonial of intensive Czech courses for foreigners on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
After five months of intensive learning, during which they completed 320 teaching hours, the participants of two intensive courses at levels A1 and B1 at the Faculty of Arts of the University of South Bohemia celebrated their graduation. Although the course format was quite demanding for many participants, the intensive contact with Czech enabled most of them to develop important language skills more quickly. On their long and difficult journey through the Czech language, the participants were accompanied by lecturers from among the students and graduates of the Faculty of Arts, who thus gained valuable experience in teaching and leading the intensive course. As part of the closing ceremonial, the participants wrote final tests and received certificates of successful completion of the course.
Some of the participants also expressed interest in follow-up courses. It is currently possible to register for Afternoon Czech Courses for Foreigners, which will be held at the faculty from April. The courses will be conducted at levels A1/A2 and B1/B2.
