Institute of English Studies

The Institute of English Studies was founded on 1st September 2010 and currently offers a Bachelor's degree programme in English Language and Literature (combined with Czech Studies, History, Biology, Chemistry and Romance Studies), consecutive Master's degree programme in English and American Literature and consecutive Master's programme in Teacher Training for Upper Secondary Schools in English Language and Literature.

The Institute of English Studies was founded on 1st September 2010 and currently offers a Bachelor's degree programme in English Language and Literature (combined with Czech Studies, History, Biology, Chemistry and Romance Studies), consecutive Master's degree programme in English and American Literature and consecutive Master's programme in Teacher Training for Upper Secondary Schools in English Language and Literature. In addition to obligatory courses, students can choose from a wide range of courses, elective and optional, including English and American cultural studies, literary translation of prose and poetry, and many specialized literary workshops.
