 Specialisation Description

The course composition of the specialisation is based on the traditional model of philological studies that links linguistic components with components of literary science and culture of civilization. Emphasis is also placed on the practical language competences of the graduates as they add a significant value on the labour market. Based on good practice of the Master's philological disciplines of Czech universities, the linguistic disciplines focus on the analysis of the so-called higher levels of the language system (syntax and text) and the developmental aspects of the Spanish language. Courses of literary science cover mainly the older period of the Spanish literary canon and, in accordance with modern trends, they also deal with other literature written in Spanish. The programme also includes a profiling component of optional courses.
